Collaborate on fragment research in Fribourg this July! The Digital Analysis of Chant Transmission, in partnership with the Center for Manuscript Research–University of Fribourg, is hosting the colloquium "Scraps of the Sacred" from 1-3 July, 2026 in Fribourg, Switzerland. The colloquium will include short research talks and extensive discussion about musical liturgical manuscript fragments. There will also be a library visit and workshops designed to build skills in identifying illuminations and artwork, notation, text scripts, and more. We welcome contributions from individuals both with established research experience as well as those at the beginning of their research careers.
