Indexing Notes
The S-shaped neumes on [ba]bi[lonis] and se[dimus] indicate an ascending melody with some ornament or liquescent. The interpretation of this neume remains ambiguous since the neume does not appear in a consistent way in this manuscript. Generally speaking, the neume could be there to signify pes stropha, pes quilisma or pes liquescent. When comparing with other sources, the neume on ba[bi]lonis could be pes stropha (see GB-Lbl : Egerton 0857 f.27r ; F-Pn : NAL 01414 f.38v ; F-Pn : Lat. 9436 f.39v).
