Indexing Notes
The notes are small and precise. Faint staff lines partly hard to read. Beati Felici is written in the text before the chant. Could be Felix of Nola, Confessor (Jan. 14), since in the next text are mentioned Remigii and Hilarii, (Remigius, Bishop of Reims, Confessor & Hilary, Bishop of Poitiers, Doctor (Jan.14). All of them have the same memorial day. After this chant there seems to be a different hand writing in the text, but only for two paragraphs (Tahkokallio 2023). The S-shaped neume on co[ronam] indicates an ascending melody with some sort of ornament or liquescent. The interpretation of this neume remains ambiguous since the neume does not appear in a consistent way in this manuscript. On the whole, the neume could be there to signify pes stropha, pes quilisma, pes liquescent or just a non-ornamental pes.
