- Indexing Notes
- The last clef on the last staff resembles an E-clef, which affects the final of the chant (making it a D). The differentia which follow suggest the clef is nevertheless a C-clef, but this still makes the chant end on the third from the final (a B) which is not so common for this chant in other sources. The S-shaped neumes on cor, [exami]na[sti] and [i]ni[quitas] indicate an ascending melody with some sort of ornament or liquescent. The interpretation of this neume remains ambiguous since the neume does not appear in a consistent way in this manuscript. On the whole, the neume could be there to signify pes stropha, pes quilisma, pes liquescent or just a non-ornamental pes.
