Indexing Notes
The ends of the staff lines are not so clear to read since the notation has been written past the lines. The S-shaped neume on [bene]dix[it] indicates an ascending melody with some sort of ornament or liquescent. The interpretation of this neume remains ambiguous since the neume does not appear in a consistent way in this manuscript. Here the neume could be there to signify pes quilisma (F-Pn : Lat. 1087 f.11v ; F-Pn : Lat. 12584 f.129r ; Graduale Triplex).
