Commemorates a translation on 23 April 1492. See Bistum Augsburg: "Dorthin übertrug Bischof Friedrich von Zollern am 23. April 1492 die Reliquien" (https://bistum-augsburg.de/Bistum/Unser-Bistum/Persoenlichkeiten/Bistumspatrone/Hl.-Simpert-Bischof-von-Augsburg-778-bis-807) and the preface to the Historia Sancti Simperti edited by Robert Klugseder (Institute of Mediaeval Music, 2006): "Bereits am 23.4.1492 konnte die feierliche Übertragung der Gebeine Simperts in eine neue Gruft unter Beisein Kaiser Maximilians I. gefeiert werden." In D-Mbs Clm 4305 the feast is inserted with an annotation just before the Feast of St. Mark.
