Binding: Bound in full brown leather with heavy wooden boards laced-in; spine covered in dark brown leather, and over both boards lighter brown leather with a diamond decoration, worn in places with boards partially exposed; boards have brass bosses in the center and corners and are edged with metal coverings; 2 heavy metal straps on both boards hold metal clasps; inside back board has paper paste-down; inside front board has printed fragments pasted over exposed wooden board.
