Single leaf from a breviary. 40.7 x 26.7 cm (writing area not provided.) Pregothica script in two columns, 47 lines per column. Unheightened St-Gall style neumes in brown ink. Text of chants in a somewhat more Carolingian style script than that of the readings. Simple 2-line initials in red begin each reading; rubrics given in red text or as underlining.

Contains chants for early January, including the octaves of Christmas, Stephen, and John, Marian suffrages, and Celsus, bishop of Trier (Jan.4).
