- The melody incipit differs from other examples of Salvum populum found in the Cantus database. Could it be that the writer started to write the wrong melody, and thus did no write further? The clef seems to be B clef, but its relationship to the staff line is hard to see: defh--f-fed---ef-gfe- is an another possible reading.
