"Catholic Church. Ritual, including the Order for the consecration of nuns, [genealogies?] for Epiphany and Christmas, and the blessing of the Paschal candle. [Spain?]: 15th or 16th century. 40 leaves: parchment and paper, 274 x 204 mm. Written in Latin; Gothic rotunda script. Layout is 15 lines ruled in lead point; square musical notation on 5-line red staves; pen-flourished initials. Binding: Bound in quarter brown tanned animal skin nailed to wood boards with remnants of one fore-edge strap. Provenance: From the Edward A. Parsons Collection"
