Summary
Single, large parchment leaf with distinctive large "S" in red and blue. Square notation in black ink on 5-line red staves. Rounded, humanistic Latin script. 740 mm high x 524 mm wide.
Description

This fragment is framed and visible only on one side. The folio number "CLXXX" is clear. There are four lines of humanistic text in black ink with square notation on 5-line red staves.
Leaf size: 740 mm high x 524 mm wide.

Principal writing space: 582 mm high x 366 mm wide.
Staff height: 90 mm.
Height between staff lines: 22-23 mm.

This fragment was received as a personal gift by an accountant, Dick Storre, in the 1970s or 1980s in California. His widow, Deborah Storre, mentioned that he frequently received gifts from clients, and thinks that this one was from a local travel agent with a Greek name. It was brought to Halifax in 2025 by her son, Andrew Burke, who gave it to Jennifer Bain for study purposes. (Names used with permission.)
