- Description
The ms is principally a collection of lives of saints. The sequence for Januarius is a supplement to his life, along with a notated office. Use of name and format suggest a sequentiary as probable source. The final sequence seems to be an afterthrought. Notation of the first sequence is carefully and competently copied. Date of sequences’ addition to the ms is probably late 11th century, at least second half of the century.
