Description

Single leaf from a 15th century missal with no musical notation. Northern Textualis (French or Flemish?) in black ink; rubrics in red, with two line initials alternating red and blue. Some corrections in a grey ink. Two columns of 32 lines each. Originally foliated CXXV on verso.
Obtained from bookseller Erik von Scherling (1907-56) (Catalogue 10, 1930, item number 899).
No. 20 in de Ricci's Census of medieval and Renaissance manuscripts in the United States and Canada.
