Indexing Notes
The word spiritu has been shortened. There is a D clef, a bit strangely. The S-shaped neume on [re]spon[sum] could indicate reiteration, pes stropha, as in Riksarkivet Fr. 477, which has also liquescent neums in the words [respon]sum, mortem, ul[nas] and ser[vum]. The melodies are quite similar in these two sources with only minor differences. There is a S-shaped neum in Fr. 477 in the latter syllable of servum. The syllable, which is unfortunately missing in I.26. Fr. 477 is probably from Northern France/England, and from the same time period as I.26, the second half of twelfth century.
