- This is the ancient Benedictus antiphon of day 5 before Christmas (i.e., Dec 21); (21, 22, 23, 24, 25 = 5 days: "quinta enim die"); according to this manuscript, there are two ways to sing this antiphon: a) as a Commemoration: Antiphon – Gloria Patri – Antiphon (a little bit higher) – Sicut erat – Antiphon (again a little bit higher) AND b) as part of Lauds on the 4th Sunday of Advent: Antiphon – Benedictus + Gloria Patri – Antiphon (higher) – Sicut – Antiphon (again higher);
